Description
Senior Java Developers required immediately with a well established product development company
based in Cork
Reporting into the Team Leader / Architect the successful candidate will work as part of a development team in the creation of next generation enterprise products with responsibility for full SDLC Enterprise Java development
Role/ Opportunity:
- Work within a high performing Java Development team
- Responsibility for Design, code and test of N-Tier Java Components
- Refactoring and maintenance of existing components
- Build System Integration using Maven
- Bug Fixing/Issue Management
Skills / Experience:
- A well rounded technologist with at least six years experience delivering N-Tier Enterprise Java solutions
- Experience in the following essential
- Hibernate or other ORM
- Spring Framework
- Apache Tomcat or Spring TC Server
- SQL development
- Experience in using build system, ideally Maven advantageous
- Experience using Continuous integration tools such as Cruise Control, Final Builder, Luntbuild
- Strong application process flow and problem solving techniques
- An ability to set and work to fixed deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS
