Our client a leading Telecommunication company is currently recruiting for a Consolidation Programme Manger for a contract role in Dublin
Role / Opportunity:
Data Center Consolidation Programme Manger Role:
- Mobilize 22M Euro Data Center consolidation and IT capability transformation programme
- Define and put in place governance structure and project team structure to deliver immediate Phase 1 deliverables and longer term strategic goals
- Define workstream objectives and deliverables and ensure the required skills are identified and in place in a timely fashion for each workstream
- Identify issues and risk with the programme and put in place remedial actions
- Manage third party professional services and vendors to ensure they are set up to deliver in line with programme objectives
- Defined programme KPIs and put in place KPI measurement and reporting procedures
- Report to the senior management team and programme sponsors and provide timely and clear programme status updates
Skills / Experience:
- Programme management experience as overall programme prime for large scale data center consolidation and move projects
- Experience with server virtualization and virtual machine migrations
- Experience reporting into and getting buy in from senior, C-level, management teams
