The successful candidate will report to the Group CIO and working alongside other IT professionals including Head of Service Delivery, Head of Business Relationship Management and Head of IT Architecture this role will be responsible for the following

• Owning and managing the full IT project & solutions portfolio, ensuring clear implementation plans are in place, providing status reporting, risk and issue tracking, resolution and escalation of critical issues and risks to the plans.
• Project communication and liaison with all relevant partners and stakeholders.
• Creation of metrics, reporting and status reports to report progress against project objectives, SLAs and milestones
• Change management control process to track all changes in project scope during the implementation as well as any additional /ongoing requirements post-implementation.
• On time and on budget delivery for each project
• Lead a broad team of IT Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers.

Skills / Experience

• Successful delivery of complex multi-functional IT programme/projects.
• Ability to interact credibility and with impact at senior levels internally and with the business stakeholders.
• Experience in managing business/technology projects including system vendors and service providers
• Implementation of standard project management practices
• Maturity and strength of purpose to motivate project managers/business analysts/vendors to deliver the desired project/business outcomes
• Leadership and management in the area of IT change, project and information delivery

• Financial skills and commercial acumen to deliver cost efficiencies and value for money

You will also bring a passion for consistently delivering successful projects and possess excellent communication, negotiation analytical and influencing skills. The successful candidate will also have an ability to work to tight deadlines, with proven experience in similar and / or other equivalent roles. In addition the successful candidate will have strategic vision; he or she will have the capability to deliver sustainable/value add solutions and operate effectively with senior group and business unit management.
