Description
Our client, a leading telecommunications company, is currently recruiting a Programme Director to join their Dublin based team on a on a 6 month contract.
Role / Opportunity:
- Build the relevant structure and processes to support the function which integrates to the wider departments.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of standards relevant to the industry such as PMI and ISO and prepare for upcoming new standards/updates.
- Maintain relevant accreditations within the industry such as PRINCE2 & PMI.
- Identify and maintain partnerships which enhance or supplement the function.
- Interface with Sales, Pre-sales, Service, Product Management and other areas as necessary to ensure the explicit objectives of the role are delivered upon.
- Assist in the closure of sales opportunities through the demonstration of management capability and trusted advisor relationships.
- Maximise revenue potential in client engagements through identifying new expansion areas to compete in.
- Effective change control and adherence to scope and design documents.
- Ensure trends/opportunities throughout the marketplace are identified and tendered for aggressively and work with account teams to create and execute improvement plans.
- Ongoing solicitation of feedback from customers for satisfaction ratings and to identify improvement developments.
- Review customers post implementation results to assess delivery and levels of expectations met.
- Manage process for effective sizing of customer opportunities.
- Maintain and adhere to resource management processes and systems to maximise the capacity planning process and resource utilisation.
- Maintain accurate reporting on key metrics for the wider delivery group.
- Ensure timesheets are 100% accurate and detailed at a sufficient level to satisfy invoicing requirements.
- Maintain and enhance relationships at peer level to ensure complex solutions can be constructed and delivered seamlessly.
- Act as a role model and ambassador for the companies values
- Develop collaborative mechanisms for communication amongst peers and engineering disciplines throughout the wider group.
- 100% on time completion of objectives & development plans
Skills / Experience:
- Qualifications – Business/Science Degree/PMP Diploma. (Masters or equivalent an advantage)
- Experience - Min 10 years industry experience
- Industry Background – Comms/ICT/Consulting/SI
- Experience in large scale programme and project management with recognised qualification
