Description
Our client, a leading Telecommunications Company is currently seeking a Head of IT Operations to join their team based in Dublin on a permanent basis.
Role / Opportunity
- Define the Central Operations Delivery Plan
- Define the Central Operations capability improvement plan
- The effective programme and project management of the Central Operations Delivery Plan
- Delivery of defined capability improvements, affecting productivity, cost base, customer experience, operational stability and improved incident resolution
- Deliver on the approved capital budget associated with the Central Operations delivery plan
- Identify the key learning and recommendations for addition to the existing "business as usual" process or introduce new processes
- Work with key technology suppliers to deliver more in right sourced innovative delivery model
- Fully support peer Central Operations leaders to achieve their key delivery goals
- Lead, manage and coach central operations and the wider team in order to maximise their capability development and contribution to a high performance culture
- Foster a strong customer service ethic in building the future company
- Ensure work practices are the best in class, internal processes are continually enhanced to deliver high quality, cost effective services to meet and exceed customers’ expectations
- Drive performance management in your area
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety obligations
- Proactively manage stakeholders to ensure the continuing success and reputation of the business
Skills / Experience
- Leadership – Experience in senior leadership roles
- Strategic knowledge of IT and Network platforms
- Operational excellence-able to demonstrate a proven track record
- Programme and project management expertise demonstrate by delivering strategic programmes
- Personal accountability
