Our client a leading communication company is currently recruiting for a Product Manager for a Contract role in Dublin
Reporting to the head of Managed Data Networks the successful candidate will be responsible for managing client’s portfolio of Data Networking and Voice Equipment Products and related services.
Role / Opportunity:
- Lifecycle manage a portfolio of Data Networking and Voice Equipment products and services. Will include (not limited to):
- Routers, Ethernet Switches, Wireless, Security and other appliances
- IPT, Voice/Collaboration/Unified communications equipment
- Structured equipment maintenance services
- Price-driven bundled solutions (e.g. Opex options, Fixed Price options)
- Professional services for implementation / integration
- Establish a clear structure for our core business Data Networking and Voice Equipment Products portfolio and vendors.
- Work with the Delivery and Assure & Customer Service functions to develop a structured set of Equipment Maintenance options and professional services for implementation / integration
- Ensure that robust and efficient service/ support process standards are set with and met by internal/external suppliers
- Set/meet agreed product revenue, cost/profitability and market share targets
- Maintain and communicate a product roadmap for a range of Data Networking and Voice Equipment Products
- Support sales and marketing areas on customer engagements and proposals
- Support customer solution meetings, design projects and escalations
- Support training requirements on Data Networking and Voice Equipment Products Drive the timely development of product additions/enhancements and ceasing of end-of-life products or product elements
Skills / Experience:
- At least five years relevant experience in the Data Networking and/or Voice Equipment Products and related services market
- Strong experience of product development and portfolio management for equipment and related services.
- Strong project management and co-ordination skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the Cisco and other vendor’s portfolio
