Our client a multinational pharmaceutical company are currently seeking a Release Coordinator to join their organisation based in Belgium.

Role/Opportunity:

  • Coordinate and organize the daily activities of the release department, while providing dynamic support to the Release Manager in order to meet the quality requirements, the deadlines set out to improve existing processes and to participate in the development of new release projects of the group;
  • Organize the review of batch records of finished product according to the procedures (paper file or electronic) and according to the deadlines set;
  • Provide technical support to the release group and participate in review of batch records;
  • Maintain and keep up to date on release procedures and give support in the preparation of documentation related to projects and check the feasibility of the changes on site;
  • Prepare the daily indicators (QIT), weekly and monthly trends;
  • Track changes in pharmaceutical standards and implement actions in order to maintain compliance;
  • Provide support in updating computer systems and databases used by the release department;
  • Follow up on administrative errors found in the batch records and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA);
  • Provide support to other departments (contract management, documentation, etc.). Relating to finished products manufactured specifically for hospital pharmacists (DUBX);
  • Liaise with internal and external customers and with suppliers

Skills/Experience:

  • BSc in chemistry, biology, biochemistry or pharmacy
  • Eligible to act as Qualified Person and experience working as a QP in industry
  • Proven leadership and people management experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
