Our client, a pharmaceutical client, based in Germany, is currently recruiting a Global Quality Control Manager
Role/Opportunity
- Ensure analytical Services and analytical Development complies to established regulations
- Anticipate trends in analytical requirements and state of the art analytical methods
- Identify productivity initiatives across the analytical world and coordinate action plans to implement
- Establish governance system and metrics required to monitor compliance and continuous improvement
- Coordinate standardization of equipment across labs
- Establish strategic direction and long term plans for laboratories
- Work with the different QA units closely
- Coordinate capacity globally to identify synergies
- Get involved in technical issues when needed
- Develop technical network of experts in different analytical techniques and establish communication and productive alliances among them
- Provide support to Quality systems management to draw up the policies and guidelines for the analytical world
Skills/Experience
- Graduate in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology or another related science
- English fluent in speaking and writing, second language desirable
- 10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical GMP area. Strong technical skills in QC laboratories as well as experience in working with external regulatory agencies (FDA, EMEA, etc)
- Proven capability to get results through people and influence across boundaries
- Experience in an international Matrix organisation, Hands on
- Excellent intercultural communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Process and performance oriented personality
- Willing to travel worldwide
