Description

Our client a leading name in the travel booking and accommodations industry is now in need of C# ASP.NET Developers (senior and Mid-Level); the successful candidate is to be responsible for the development of software applications and associated documentations to meet specifications and company quality standards as well as to support our client's Business-as-usual development work.

 

Role/ Opportunity

  • To develop web-based applications and coordinate with our offshore team on Business-as-usual enhancements and projects so as to ensure the performance and reliability of the system to users' expectation
  • Conduct requirements gathering, design, analysis, development and implementation of new software projects
  • To maintain and provide support to the current web-based system
  • Develop software products adhering to specifications and high quality standard in line with the company's quality processes.
  • Maintain accurate status information on work in progress in the company's work management systems.
  • Fix defects found in the software as directed.
  • Develop documentation to support the software products as directed.

 

Skills/ Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related course
  • Has at least 3- 5 years of experience in developing web-based applications
  • Has in depth technical knowledge of C#, .Net, SQL Server for web-based (MVC) application development.
  • Proven experience of delivering quality software using a Test Driven Development (TDD) approach.
  • Proven experience of working within an Agile (SCRUM) software development process
  • Has technical knowledge of nHibernate, StructureMap, Javascript frameworks, Subversion, Memcache.
  • Has experience in Scrum
  • Demonstrable experience of owning the technical strategy to improve code quality at component level. Proficient in HTML, CSS , JavaScript, CRM development and implementation Integrate with databases, third party systems to ensure seamless flow of data.
  • Familiar with Social Media, Social Network API, Facebook programming to create dynamic applications involving databases.
