Description
Our client a leading name in the travel booking and accommodations industry is now in need of an Interaction Designer; the successful candidate is to be responsible for maximizing conversion on our client's website by leading the definition and interaction design, translating business objectives and user requirements into effective designs.
Role/ Opportunity
- Lead the definition and interaction design for AsiaRooms website
- Help translate business objectives and user requirements into effective designs
- Work collaboratively with anyone from UX Analyst, Marketing & Project Managers to development teams to develop designs that are functional and practical.
- Plan and execute research to cultivate interaction design best practices.
- Develop detailed storyboards, conceptual models, wireframes, navigational maps that communicate design effectively
Skills/ Experience
- Graduate Degree with specialization in interaction design, human-computer interaction, usability, human factors engineering, interactive visual design or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in design, particularly in interaction design, human-computer interaction, information architecture, usability and human factors engineering.
- A design portfolio that demonstrates candidates' creative abilities in applying user-centered design techniques to ecommerce and mobile applications
- Demonstrated record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to accomplish objectives
- Strong understanding of web technologies and how to design within limitations.
- Experience with interactive prototyping tools, such as Fireworks, OmniGraffle, Visio and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of web coding languages is a plus.
