Description
Reporting to the Network Lead, the role will involve maintaining SLAs for all systems with specific focus on manufacturing support. Participate in the group on call rota to provide out of hours cover for supported systems.
Role / Responsibilities
Support of LAN, Wireless LAN and security environments
Ensure SLA compliance for service desk incidents
Act as the point of escalation for network & EUC related technical issues that are raised within the group and ensure a satisfactory conclusion is achieved for all incidents
Provide telephone and desk side support to the user base of the campus
Co-ordinate with local and global service providers for all managed systems and services.
Support of manufacturing based systems and Service Desk Operations
Management of antivirus infrastructure
Management of weekly on-call rota
Maintain and update system documentation
Adhere to all Health & safety requirements and be available to travel between multiple Cork sites
Skills / Requirements
5 years relevant IT support experience.
Relevant IT qualification, coupled with
Multinational experience desirable although not essential.
Committed to quality with the drive & determination to achieve objectives in a timely fashion.
Ability to integrate well within a team environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines, while at the same time displaying attention
Show initiative and a high degree of self motivation.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
