Description

Reporting to senior management the successful candidate will have full project management responsibility for a range of projects from liaising between Localisation Teams to delivering projects to Client requirements within required budget, quality and timeline.

 

Role / Opportunity:

  • Scope, plan and monitor projects to meet deadline, quality and budget requirements for clients
  • Manage client relationships and serve as primary contact for external clients
  • Collaborate with production teams to create, implement and maintain appropriate procedures, solutions, checklists and instructions
  • Monitor and maintain project financials (revenue recognition, revenue forecasting, billings etc)
  • Ensure accuracy of financial project data, workflows, schedules and processes
  • Resolve questions and issues in a timely and effective manner for clients and internal teams
  • Track and consolidate schedule progress and issues associated with each project.
  • Organise and participate in client meetings and submit project estimates for Clients
  • Contribute to internal process improvement

 

Skills / Experience:

  • At least 3 years project management experience within the Localisation or DTP sector
  • Knowledge of functional and technical aspects of Win and Mac based platforms.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills essential
  • Experience of Trados and In-Design, FileMaker, BBEdit, Excel essential
  • Experience of Localisation processes and Standards essential
  • Experience of a variety of CAT Tools, file formats used in Windows and Unix platforms an advantage
  • Understanding of HTML, DHTML, XML, and web technologies in general would be of benefit
  • Qualification in an IT related discipline
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills essential
