This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in the IT industry offering a suite of applications and storage management software. You should be a self-starter with proven online marketing and channel marketing experience who can create and execute web-based demand generation programs to support regional growth objectives. They are in need of Inside Channel Account Manager.
The Inside Channel Account Manager is responsible for qualifying, establishing and ensuring the success of channel partners. These responsibilities center first and foremost on securing new sales of our products and services, and in expanding existing accounts through joint marketing and sales efforts. The position also requires active contribution in defining channel strategy, translating strategy into operational targets and setting priorities for establishing value-generating channel sales.
Role/ Opportunity
- Identify, evaluate and validate channel distribution partners, then contract, build, support and manage channel relationships
- Work with channels and our marketing team in achieving and sustaining quarterly sales and gross margin targets
- Manage the deployment of marketing programs directed at attracting and/or sustaining qualified channel partners
- Key strength is the ability to articulate company's product strategic and technical benefits and advantages relative to competitor offerings
- Support channel partners on joint sales and joint marketing activities
- Provide best-in-class channel support
- Other responsibilities include weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast accuracy, pipeline development and customer satisfaction
Skills/ Experience
- Must have experience providing support to the China Market''
- Experience of selling in the software industry preferred
- Successful track record of exceeding bookings and quota
- Self-starter with the flexibility to lead, manage or contribute to changing market and sales needs with tactics that respond well to partner needs
- Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills with a strong partner focus in driving sales through various channels
- Strong written and verbal English is a must
- Previous experience with Salesforce.com preferred
- Successful track record in relationship based channel account management preferred
